OPERATION ULTRASOUND
We have begun the process of becoming an ULTRASOUND FACILITY!
We will offer limited obstetrical ultrasound scans to our clients that are Abortion-minded or Abortion-vulnerable. These scans will determine three things:
- Estimate gestational age
- Confirm cardiac activity – life
- Confirm the presence of an intrauterine pregnancy – location

With this opportunity, each mom will be able to visually see her baby on the monitor and watch the beating heart! With a Doppler Monitor she will be able to hear the soothing, steady heart rhythm.
With 3-D imaging you see a crisp, clear, recognizable picture of baby moving and actively participating in life as it grows and waits to be born!
We are well on our way to the $40,000.00 needed to become operational.

Q: Can I get a free pregnancy test?

A: Yes, we offer free pregnancy tests to all women whether you make an appointment or walk in. In fact, all of our services are free. |

Q: Can I get an abortion at the PRC?
|
A: At the PRC we do not perform abortions. We will be happy to talk to you about your alternatives as well as provide you with valuable information before you make this life altering decision. |

A: We do not give referrals for abortions. However, we can refer you to a local doctor to verify your pregnancy and help you make the best and safest decision for you and your baby. |

A: Since we do not offer abortion services and referrals, we do not know how much an abortion costs. |

A: Because of our emphasis on life, we do not have the "Morning After Pill" (RU486). |

A: We can give you referrals to community agencies that will help you get housing and other basic needs. |

Q: Do you help with diapers, clothes or car seats? |
A: We are able to help with diapers, maternity and baby clothes up to 12 months. New car seats are available if you complete our 5 week "New Moms Club". We also have the "Earn While You Learn" Program, which enables you to attend classes and earn mommy money to shop at the mommy market. |

Q: Can you tell me about adoption? |
A: We are able to talk with you about this option and give you referrals to agencies that will work with you to make a plan that you are comfortable with. |

Q: Can I become an adoptive parent through your clients? |
A: We cannot facilitate adoptions. However, we can refer you to agencies and attorneys that will assist you through this process. |

Q: How can I help the RVPRC?
|
A: There are a variety of ways you may be able to help the RVPRC.
- Your donation of new or gently used maternity or infant clothes will help a young mom and her baby with these needed items.
- Diapers, toiletries (baby powder, lotion, shampoo and body wash), gently used high chairs, bassinettes and cribs.
- Cribs and new infant car seats are precious to us because they enable our New Moms Club to offer special prizes for class attendance.
- If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our office and attend our volunteer training classes - offered three times per year.
- Please consider giving a one time or on-going monthly donation.
